SATURDAY STROLLER WALKS - to the end of March 2018
Not been walking for a while? Want to get back to walking?
Just fancy a short easy stroll in the fresh air? Come and join your local Ramblers group on a ‘Saturday Stroller’.
All walks are easy, circular and will be at a leisurely pace taking 2 to 3 hours. All of the walks are around 4-5 miles long
So why not give it it go?
All you need is suitable clothing and footwear - and perhaps water and a snack to have en route?
You don't need to be a member of the Ramblers to join a Saturday Stroll but we would expect you to join the group if you
walk with us on a regular basis.
To join us for a stroll just be at the start point, ready to set off, at 11am .................................
Saturday 2 December Lymm WA13 0JQ Leader; Lesley
Meet at Pepper Street car park in Lymm for a leisurely stroll around the local area.
Saturday 16 December Dunham with Xmas lunch WA14 5RN Leaders; Lesley & Sheila
Meet at the Axe and Cleaver for a gentle pre-Xmas stroll. All strollers are invited to join the leaders for Xmas lunch in the pub after the walk. (Choose your food on the day)
Saturday 30 December Peover WA16 9EX Leader; Sheila
Meet at the car park beside the Whipping Stocks Inn for an easy stroll to Peover Hall, returning along Free Green Lane.
There should be time for us to stop for a coffee at the local garden centre on route.

Meet at the Racecourse Road car park, Wilmslow, for a leisurely walk around the Black Lake
and across Lindow Moss.

Meet at the The Greyhound, Back Lane, Ashley for an easy flat stroll crossing fields which may be quite muddy.
Saturday 24 February Sale & Chorlton Water Parks M33 2LX Leader; Sheila
Meet at the visitor centre for a flat easy stroll using a new route around Sale and Chorlton Ees.
This walk is part of the Greater Manchester Winter Walking Week.

Saturday 24 March Alderley Edge SK10 4UB Leader; Lesley
Meet at the National Trust car park by The Wizard for a stroll along the Edge.
The route is mainly on good paths but there are some inclines to climb.
Non-members are welcome to join us but if you walk regularly with the Strollers you will be expected to join the Ramblers.
